Re: Losing Extensions

Keith: For any trouble regarding publishing to the server, I recommend first to publish locally (to your directory offline). Then your can start the website locally (except any PHP based function) and check if everything is working. In that case the problem is a connection or server side problem! re...

Re: Page without HTML code possible?

I was just wondering if QnEWB would allow the editing of the PHP-File also.
I solved the problem with FilePublisher and that is okay for me.

Re: Inconsistent fonts on page

A potential cause is, you did paste a formatted text. Or you selected by accident "Show more, non web-safe fonts".
Do you find that font in your fonts list of QnEWB?

Re: Inconsistent fonts on page

Hi Xedni: THis is happening to me frequently.
My workaround:
mark/select all/each text,
Right-Click
Remove Formatting
and the format the text again. I did not find the real root cause, but mabe I did some copy/paste before.

Re: Correcting HTML code

Hi Gerhard:
Yes, now it looks fine.
Wherever the strange code came from, QnEWB was not producing it.

Re: Correcting HTML code

Hi Gerhard, -please open your project in QnEWB -go to the page "index" -select "Page" - "Page HTML" and have a look if you can find any entry in the TAB "Start of Page" or "Between <head></head< tags" If you have a look on the code, shown in the upper part of the page HTML display, you can find a lo...

Re: Correcting HTML code

Hi "Faros": I see you could not yet fix your problem in http://www.faros.ws/ . Do you need more help how to find your error code? Seems you did remove some code now, but not in QnEWB! BTW: Be very careful about basic web-design rules: Never use a non-websafe-filename like Gerhard & Lesley from Joe C...

Re: Not publish in v6.03

Carlos: Did you check if the publishing settings (server settings) are still okay? Depending from which version you updated, maybe they are not carried over.

Re: News Feed Ticker

Is the News Feed Ticker contents (Data source = User Defined) saved inside the .qwb -format or as an .XML in the project folder?

News Feed Ticker

Hi Pablo: I have some questions regarding the News Feed Ticker objekt as I can't find a tutorial and the help file part is quite short: 1.- I can see, that the LINK is only related to the TITLE. Is it possible to have it extend on the Description also? 2.- Is it possible to have the contents of anot...

Re: Form bypassing validation?

Hi Brian, I would recommend to - review your code, the form is not working as stated on the web page ("then press enter") - remove all google bullshit - simplify your site (in QnEWB "save as" -> test. Then remove everything unnecessary, other than the form. upload to the same or any test directory o...

Re: Site relative to excavator repair

Hi Uffex: I suggest to use more attractive page titles, instead of "index", "contact us".....
