You did not select 'include line-height' in the properties.

1. Set compatibility 'Include line-height'
2. Select the line spacing in the format menu.

Line spacing applies to the selected paragraph so that is why this option is not in the properties of the text's container.

No, the font size cannot made bigger.
However, it should use the same font size as all your other apps. I am not sure if I have any control over this on MacOS as a developer.

Isn't the font the same as in other apps for you?

Note that there has already been an update for the Linux version which should solve Internet connection issues.
