In preview I see the "Rescuing Dogs For 40 Years" in large white text. I suspect something is wrong with the CSS definition of <h4>.
The HTML sets the font colour to white but 'h4' then sets it to blue.

Re: Changing border colours in MenuBar
Still looks OK to me even though the images are not present in the QWB file to check fully. I can see something odd that might be responsible, the line "rescuing dogs for 40 years... .... 19/04/2020" appears in a larger font with the date and '.aaa' showing feintly and vertically just insi...

Re: Changing border colours in MenuBar
They look identical to me. The border is 0xFFD700 on both top and bottom images.

Re: "Single Page Protect" w/password only?
The clue is in the link name you posted, it should end in ".php". Go into the settings and change html to php then re-publish the page. Note that most if not all browsers will select the html version of a page in preference to a php one so you will have to manually delete the present html ...

Re: returning field value in email
Thanks Pablo.
I tried everything I could think of, glad to know it isn't my coding that stops it.

Re: Sitemap
Yes, just create it as plain text and upload it to the root folder of the web site. Obviously customize it if you want to exclude robots from scanning your pages but note that obeying it is voluntary. Reputable web crawlers will honor it but nasty ones will see it as a treasure map to snoop where so...

returning field value in email
My apologies because I'm sure I asked this before but I can't find the post with the answer in it. I'm trying to include a hidden field in a form. With a constant value or text in the "Value:" field it is sent perfectly. What I'm trying to do is return the value entered on the standard con...

Re: Sitemap
robots.txt is a very simple text file you can create and upload yourself. At its simplest it contains only two lines: User-Agent: * Allow: / You can customise it as you wish. 'User-Agent' is a kind of filter that blocks or allows certain browsers, "Allow: /" is a path that search engines a...

fireworks extension
The extension manager link to "fireworks" and "fireworks & stars" does not seem to work, they appear to download and they are added to the XML file of extensions but they end in ".wbx". Is the WYSIWYG extension being loaded by mistake?

Local artist website
This started as a WYSIWYG Web Builder project but has been ported to QnEWB recently. It is intended for display on larger screens and is therefore deliberately not responsive at the artists request. It has lots of images, some of them may be familiar from commercial advertising but they all originat...

Re: marquee size limitiation
mexman - it works as expected until about half the lines have scrolled upwards then blanks and starts scrolling the first line again. The site URL I posted is the old version which I am trying to replicate, it works OK, it's the new version made with v7.1 that exhibits the problem. Pablo - I'll try ...

marquee size limitiation
I'm converting a site made with WYSIWYG Web Builder several years ago with QNewB so it is easier for me to maintain in Linux, I do not use Windows at all now. I've come across a problem I didn't have before with the 'marquee' extension. My client is a well known painter and has a long list of awards...

v7 problems
Pablo, thank you very much for this release, it looks really good and is already being put to good use. I have found two minor problems: 1. it always starts with a blank screen, even if the "Tools/Preferences/Miscellaneous/Open the most recent used page of the project" is checked. Is it su...
