Hidden Anti bot fields

Hi, I have the contact form on landing and to mach spam.
I do not prefers to use captcha.
I well use hidden fields in contact form for stop bot and pass real users without captcha.
May be you know different easy ways for stop bots without captcha?
Can you help me?

I'm sorry I do not know a way to prevent spam without using captcha.

Hi Ordanax:
There is no way to use hidden fields as spam filters.
Even the form validation function does not work.
My latest intent: Build a visible second editbox where the user needs to enter the same data as in the e.g. NAME field.
Using that form manually works perfect: Whenever you miss to enter that data in the second "match" field, the user cannot send the form.
But the bots are working around the validation function. I am getting mails showing that the validation field is existing but it is EMPTY, so the validation function does not work either.
No idea how they can do that....
The captcha is using a different approach but I don't want all my form data to run over google's desks
