Publishing from new version

Post by askwara »

Hi,
I recently upgraded my QNEWB version from 5 to 7.04 and Im working on my old project (initiated with version 1).
Here is what happens:

1. I can publish "html files only" but every time I receive message:
"Directory 'images' couldn't be created (error 13: Permission denied)"

2. Morover, when publishing "all files" publish is failed.
The log:
*** START OF PUBLISH ***
Scanning publish folder...
Found 15 file(s).
Initializing FTP connection...
Connecting to ftp.thaiyoga.biz...
Using PASV mode.
Succesfully connected.
Current directory is '/'
Setting remote folder to public_html...
Response from server: 550 Can't create directory: File exists
Response from server: 550 Can't create directory: File exists
Uploading 'Tradycyjny Masaż Tajski screenshot.png'...
Unable to upload file:
Removing temporary files...
Publish failed!
*** END OF PUBLISH ***

How can I fix it?
Thank you!

It looks like the software cannot access your files. This may be because you have moved the project but did not set the correct permission to the folder.
or if you use Windows then your temporary folder may be full.

The file name 'Tradycyjny Masaż Tajski screenshot.png' is not correct and it may therefor not be accepted by the server. Spaces in web filenames are not valid.

Thank you!
I changed the images name removing spaces and it helped.
I still have to figure out the permission to the files.
