page and banner width

Post by zalmik » Thu Nov 09, 2017 12:20 pm

I just started using QEWV.
My question is about the page width and the banner of the same size.
Default page is set to 1024x768.
I think 1024 is way too small.
When I use the banner around 1400 pix wide, previewing it shows the banner much smaller than the width of my screen, which is iMac.
And most displays are about the size of iMac.
Or maybe I'm misunderstanding something here ?

You can use a page header, layout grid or full width layer to create a full with banners.

Thank you Pablo,
2000 px wide banner does not fit in the default size of working area.
I guess to change the horizontal ruler's scale ?
But how please ?
Thanks!

What exactly do you mean by 'banner'?
If you use a header or layout grid then the width will automatically be adjusted.

Thank you, this is exactly what I was looking for.
Yes, the graphic banner I meant a header. Same thing.
Interesting topic, very new for me. Thanks!
