responsive menu is "transparent"

Post by Zwerg »

Hi,

I'm new and try your trial version.
I create a responsive menu.
If I rollover with the mouse, the sub sites are opened.
But if there is some text behind, the menu is "transparent" and it is not possible to open this site.
The first two I can open, the last two the menu automatically closed.
See the picture.

If there is no text behind, it is working,

I hope you can help
Bye

It looks like you have placed the text on top of the drop down menu.
You can change the z-order of the object on the page with the arrange tools.

I cannot see your settings based on the screenshot, but I am sure the problem is not related to the transparency of the menu, but to the order of the objects.

1. In the master page, set the stack level of the page header to 'in front of content'. This control the z-order.
2. Set overflow of the page header to 'none'
3. Make sure the menu is inside the page header. Currently it is just on top of it.

Thanks a lot.
It's working now.

I have one small problem with a Breadcrump and some text fields.
It is not complete black. It is more gray.
But the text color is black.
I think it is some similar problem.
If you have some advice for me I can do my new homepage.

Maybe you have set an alpha value for the color?

Hi Zwerg:
You made that adjustment! Check the Property Inspector of the "Selectrix" page.... you set the background color to (187,236,183)!
As the text is shown with transparency, this background is visible behind the text of the content place holder.

Hi mexman
I set the background color of the Selectrix page maybe to green.
And the background of the text field to transparent.
But I can choose the background color of the text seperatly to red.
So the text background is red and it is not possible to find the reason.
Because I can see this value nowhere.

But my problem is that the text is not black.
But I set the text color to black,
I have two text fields one the same page with the same values.
One is black and one is grey. And I don't know why.

Note that you can set the color of the main menu and sub menu separately.

Please select a different color for the sub menu to make it solid.

The result after making the change:

I'm sorry, but where exactly do I need to look on the page to see the problem?
Is this still related to the transparency of the menu?

Hi Zwerg, your description is a bit is a bit crazy, but I can see your problem now.
It disappears when you disable the master frame. Why di you use it and do not use the content place holder?
Do you know about the differences between master frame and master page?
I could not find the root cause, no idea HOW you generated "Text2" of the page "SWELECRIX" but you can fix it this way: Delete Text2, copy Text3, paste and relocate this new text and edit it..... THIS text stays black!

@Pablo,
Zerg complains about the middle text of the qwb file he sent, not beeing shown in BLACK but in GREY. After disabling the master frame from the SELECTRIX page, is shows fine, so the page "master_frame" is superposing something. Could you have a look please?

Michael
