Font size

Post by alex4orly »

I have this home page here, ignore the Hebrew writing - the problem can be seen:
https://squadron-125.org.il/home.html - please look at the top line of 4 buttons

If you look at it with a mobile / smart phone - the font size of the two left buttons, stays at 18 points
All the others are switching to 10 points

I even tried deleting the two buttons on the left and copy the two on the right, it didn't make any difference

Each raw of 4 buttons is in a layout grid, cells are centered and full width is set to true

What can be different?

Thanks

I cannot see what you have done based on the HTML code.
To be able to help you, I need a demo project so I can see all your settings.

Please read this related FAQ before sharing the project:

Hi Alex,
How did you manage to build websites with Hebrew? What operation system do you use?
Every time I add text in Hebrew, I don't see the text I am adding... I can see it only if I preview.

Hello Moris,

I have been using WWB since 2007 and allways had one or more Hebrew sites.
Some 10 months ago, I moved from Windows OS to Linux - KDE Neon Plasma version 5.20.4 at present

1) In the prohject - property inspector - make sure your Character set is Unicode (UTF-8)
2) Underneath that, Direction - Right to Left
3) Include Byte order byte (BOM) - false
4) Use Safary background fix - fals
5) Finnaly, make sure you have installed the MS fonts package

All the best, hope this helps

The font-sizes of the buttons are different in breakpoints.
This may have been caused by a bug in a previous version where the font-size was not synchronized between breakpoints.
If you go to the 480 breakpoints and set the correct font then after that it should work correct.
It should also work for newly added buttons.

Maybe the emails are blocked by your spam filter?

Yes, I did that - BUT, when I go to 480, change the font size to 10px, then it becomes 10 px in the full view and the 768 bp
So, what should I do?

The email are NOT getting to my computer, if it was that, they will end up in the junk folder
I remember having this problem initially when I moved from WWB to QAEWB
Please have a look maybe you can find something

Thanks

OK, this is resolved
I followed your instructions and recreated the layout grids and the buttons
They now look correctly at any break point

Thanks

There are no issues on my side with emails.
Maybe the messages are blocked by your ISP?
