I Changed this page on the site:
https://squadron-125.org.il/mypdf/20161209.html

The slideshow however doesn't move

What else can I do?

Thanks

Sorry, but I don't think this will work, because the structure of the new Carousel is also different.

- Undo the changes.
- copy this file
https://www.quickandeasywebbuilder.com/ ... sel.min.js
to
squadron-125.org.il/mypdf/carousel.min.js

This is the old version of the (bootstrap) carousel script.

Well, if I do that and load the old script file into that folder, how will new pages that I create now work?

Thanks

You cannot have both working at the same time. It's either one or the other.

I assume it is only effecting the carousel object, any other slide show can co-exist.
Or, am I wrong?

I didn't see any such js script with any of my current project html pages being used.

I tried that new / old js script you provided and reversed the pages and they ALL work now.

So, is there a need to this js script from the current QEWB or it is no longer playing a role?

Thanks again

The script is used by Carousel (for flexible mode) and for the slideshow (when set to 'Carousel').

Ok, so if I want to use those in the new project, I have to publish to another folder.

So, that sounds like there was a major change in one of the updates. What was it?
Are there any other objects that are not backwards compatible?

Thanks

Yes, the latest version uses Bootstrap 4, previous versions used Bootstrap 3.
In general, you should republish the entire website when a new version is released. To make sure all scripts on the server are up-to-date.

Well, I started this website in 2014. At present, this is now the 3rd version I am working on.
The current version is using pages that were created in previous versions - so, it is impossible for me to publish again the entire site.

Over the years, each time I tried to import a html page from a previous project, it didn't work.

Is it at all an option?

Thanks

You can open older projects in the newest version.
So, open the project in the latest version and republish all. Then the published website ill be up-to-date with the latest HTML and scripts.

Good idea, I think I have a copy of the .wbs project - but I no longer have access to a Windows machine
Can you help me with that?

Thanks

I'm sorry, I cannot help you with publishing a project. That may take a lot of time for me.

That is not my intention.
If you can just convert the project file for me to the qaewb format.

Thanks
