page borders

Post by jojopara »

Hello,

When I place an item in the build window, it shows relative to the borders of the page it sits in. See the first two snap shots at https://imgur.com/a/hUbrwiK
Using a template, it is in the top left corner of the building area while in preview it is in the center.

I am at a loss. Please, help me resolve this issue.

Regards,
George

Sorry, I was not able to download the file.
Can you please use a public server without login?

It does not look like you have enabled 'center in browser' in the page properties.

'Center in page' is for the object, there is a different setting for 'center in browser'. Are you confusing the two?

Yes, Brian, I have been confusing the two. But as you can see from the latest video, the element is again not in the centre of the page.

As one can see, There is no Center in Page but Center E.
Where do I go wrong?

The menu is not centered in the workspace, so therefor it is not center in the browser.

Note that you can resize the property inspector (and columns) to display the full names of the properties.

Thank you for the help!

I now understand how to centre objects.
